Welcome to Kathmandu
Fly & Trek
We will fly to Lukla (2800m) from Kathmandu (40 minutes), and trek to Phakding (2652m, 3 hours). It’s an easy and gentle first day trek.
On the second day of the trek, we will trek to Namche Bazar (3440m), the gateway to Everest from Phakding (5-6 hours).
Acclimatization Day
Namche to Kongma La Pass to Everest Base Camp
Walking around 4-5 hours on average, we will reach Tengboche on the fifth day and Dingboche (4410m) on the sixth for a night stay.
On the seventh day, we will trek around 3-4 hours to reach Chukung and acclimatize our body for Kongma La Pass. The following day, we will start early for Kongma La Pass (5535m) and night stay at Lobuche (4910m) after walking for 6-7 hours.
Finally, on the ninth day, we will head to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and night stay at Gorakshep (5164m) walking around 7-8 hours.
Kalapathar to Cho-la Pass & Gokyo-Renjo La Pass
On the tenth day morning, we will have an early morning visit to Kalapathar (5545m), one of the best viewpoints in the world, and trek to Dzongla for a night stay walking around 7 hours.
The next day, we will start early to cross Cho-la Pass and night stay at Thangnak walking around 7-8 hours. The following day, an easy walk of 2-3 hours will lead us to Gokyo, where we will rest. On the early morning of the thirteenth day, we will hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m) to enjoy the jaw-dropping vista of mountains and glacier and descend to Lumde (4350m) after crossing Renjo La Pass (5345m) for a night stay after walking for 6-7 hours.
Today’s trek is an easy descent of three hours to Thame (3820m).
On the fifteenth day, we trek to Namche Bazar and celebrate.
On the sixteenth day, we will trek to Lukla for about 6-7 hours.
