Trek Description

In this trek you will be walking through the world's deepest gorge (Kali Gandaki Gorge) surrounded by Annapurna in the east and Dhualagiri in the west, one of the world's highest pass (Thorong La, 5416m) witnessing panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Gangapurna, and other peaks, experiencing cultural diversity, exploring the Hindu and Buddhist temple and monasteries.

Day 1-3

Drive & Trek to Manang

On our first day we drive to Chame, the headquarter of Manang district from Kathmandu and night stay at Chame(2710m). 

Next day our trek begins from Chame to Upper Pisang (3310m) walking 5-6 hours. 

On our third day we trek from Upper Pisang to Manang (3540m) via Ngawal (3660m) walking 6-7 hours.

Day 4

Acclimatization & rest day at Manang

Fourth day will have rest and acclimatization day at Manang with the side trip option to Gangapurna, Ice Lake and Milarepa’s cave.

Day 5-7

Back to Yak Kharka

On the fifth day, we trek from Manang to Yak Kharka(4020m) for about 3-4 hours and night stay at Yak Kharka. 

The next day we trek to Thorong Phedi (4540m) from Yak Kharka (4-5 hours). 

The seventh day will be our pass day from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath temple (3760m) via Thorong La pass (5416m) walking for 6-8 hours.

Day 8-10

Drive to Pokhara & Kathmandu

On our eighth day we drive from Muktinath to Tatopani. Tatopani is famous for natural hot springs, and it is a place where we can immerse ourselves in the hot springs and relax. 

On our ninth day we drive to Pokhara. 

And finally drive back to Kathmandu on our tenth day.
